I believe that through active and purposeful communication, people not only identify goals and aspirations - they achieve them! Coaching clarifies, simplifies and identifies ways forward for people to overcome obstacles and achieve their best.
My coaching focuses on the "here and now" and what can be done to achieve your desires for the future. Clients receive my full attention to enable personal progression and success. All aspects of life are taken into consideration when working towards goals.
My coaching is suitable for people in the following areas:
Born in Australia, I moved to the UK in 1994 where I married and have two grown children. Since 1998 I have worked with people in a variety of settings; including managing a team that supports people who have a history of alcohol and substance misuse issues. This service focused on empowering people to take control of their lives.
Being passionate and committed towards assisting others to improve the quality of their life and well-being, I recognised coaching as my forte.
I have the LCH Diploma in Life Coaching, and am a member of the IIC&M, International Accredited Body for Coaches.
My work experience includes management, staff supervision, mediation, working 1:1, facilitating groups and delivering seminars.
Although my main experience is working with adults, I have also assisted young people (age 13 onwards) within the youth services and young people's substance misuse services. This included liaising with boarding schools, high schools, colleges and pupil referral units.
I also enjoy weight training and natural bodybuilding, where I have competed on several occasions since 2006 including the British Championships in 2007, 2011 and 2015.
